Q: In the hit series ”Marvel's Luke Cage” S1. Cornell ”Young Cottonmouth” was ordered by Mama Mable to shoot Uncle Pete, In the scene you seemed both anxious and troubled. How were you able to relax in character and execute that scene?

A: When first approaching the character of Young Cottonmouth, I lead with the fact that he was just an innocent kid with many layers faced against high stakes. As individuals, we've all experienced hard times. Laying a foundation in that very innocence through method acting, made it possible for me to relax and live in Young Cottonmouths shoes.
